‘She fasted for 40 days praying for me,’ Ruth Matete’s Nigerian husband reveals

Ruth Matete’s Nigerian pastor husband Beloved John has revealed that their dating life wasn’t easy.

The West African man said that they dated for two years and Ruth broke up with her 38 times before they walked down the aisle.

I dated you for 2 years 8 months and you broke up with me 38 times 🤣. but today you are my wife for life,’ he wrote in part.

The pastor-cum-singer and his Kenyan wife are currently in Mombasa for their honeymoon after tying the knot last Friday.

He also thanked his wife for fasting and praying for him when they were still dating.

A day after the couple’s wedding, a woman claiming to be Pastor John’s wife came forward accusing Ruth of ‘stealing’ her husband.

In an interview with Mpasho.co.ke, the Kenyan gospel artiste refuted the claims, saying her husband and ex-wife were no longer together.

The Nigerian man also told off his ex-wife, promising to stick with Matete till death.
