Ruth Matete's Husband Discloses Singer Broke Up With Him 38 Times Before Their Wedding

Just a week after former Tusker Project Fame (TPF) winner Ruthe Matete said “I Do,” her husband has shared the moments that led to their happily ever after.

According to the musician’s husband Pastor John, Ruth left him 38 times within the three years they were dating.

Through an Instagram post described by many as unbelievable, the happy husband said his wife had given up on their relationship so many times in the past.

He added that at some point Ruth had to fast and pray for 40 days so their union could last a lifetime.

John acknowledged despite all that, the two have an unbreakable bond and will be tied to the hip for the rest of their lives.

“I dated you for two years and eight months and you broke up with me 38 times. But today you are my wife for life,” he said.

The newlywed said the first week of their marriage has been amazing and a walk in the park.

“I am so glad we never gave up on each other, I remembered how you fasted and prayed for 40 days because of me,” the preacher added.

Ruth and the love of her life exchanged vows on November. 23 2019, in a picturesque ceremony attended by friends and family.

The two were all smiles and could not get enough of each other as they vowed to spend their lives by each other’s side.

John popped the question back in 2018 and the two have never looked back since then.
